Talking Through Walls

Talking Through Walls is a short-fiction about a group of young graffiti artists set in 1980s Bristol.

As 1st Ac it was my responsibility to ensure reliable and consistent focus pulling. I did this using a Tilta Nucleus M follow-focusing system hooked up to an Alexa-Mini. There were several challenging shots within this project which gave me the opportunity to practice my focus pulling. You can see an example of one of these shots below.

I was also tasked with editing and colour grading the project. This was a great learning experience as I was able to practice with a ProRes4444 workflow. To colour grade I used Davinci Resolve in combination with a plug-in called Filmconvert to emulate 16mm film.
